Automatic network synchronization provides paging carriers the flexibility to quickly and easily make changes to any part of the WMtp network, potentially saving substantial networking costs. Key Benefits of GL3300: Central control for WMtp networks The GL3300 DNCS provides central control of WMtp-based paging networks. Under DNCS control, an entire Glenayre network, large or small, is automatically and continually updated with current WMtp network configuration parameters. When new paging infrastructure is added and the WMtp network configuration changes, the system wide data updates do not interrupt system operation. With the automation of many network configuration tasks, paging carriers will see routine maintenance costs drop dramatically. Automate WMtp network synchronization As the size and complexity of a paging system grows, maintenance costs can increase exponentially. Every time a WMtp network configuration changes, such as adding a new switch to the network, all switches operating on the network must be synchronized to enable system-wide communication. Manage reseller billing with airtime statistics The DNCS monitors and reports the airtime usage of system resellers operating Glenayre infrastructure. These airtime statistics enable reseller billing without connection to the computer/billing port of the reseller's messaging switch. Minimize system downtime with enhanced GL3100 RF Director redundancy control The DNCS coordinates the switchover process for redundant GL3100 RF Directors, providing seamless backup for a primary RF Director.
