I received an E-Mailed me advising me, that I should advise you, that it may be
illegal to tape record telephone conversations without the other party's consent.

That depends on the State you live in and what State you are in when you are recording. Here in NJ, only one person on the line has to know that it is being recorded. That one person would be the one doing the recording obviously. You would have to check with your State laws.

Some States also require an announcement before a conversation starts (pre-recorderd message) that the message may be recorded. Kind of like the message you get when you call your broker most likely. Or an intermittent beep on the line is sometimes required. If you ever here an intermittent beep while you are talking on the phone, rest assured you are being recorded.

Please don't ask why I know so much about this.

Thanks
