My understanding is that the shares were originally restricted for two years but a change in SEC law shortened that period to one year, hence those shares are now becoming unrestricted.

Unless its been held for the time period required. I would think the company is asking for lawsuits not clearing legitimate restricted stock, ESPECIALLY if this price doesnt hold. Arent they holding back all 144 now?
