The "rally" was even tighter than that. Due to the mark-up on the Futures, about half of today's gain in the usual suspects was achieved at the open, at least by 8:30 Pac Time.

The potential profit I could have achieved if I had bought in today was only 1/3 of the profit I actually made buying in on that Tuesday in October 1997. This doesn't smell right.

Nice call on the rally today by those turnips. Obviously I need to get my own vegetable. Do you think I could learn more from a squash or an eggplant? It seems that the eggplant might offer more interesting advice, but the squash would last longer. <VBG>
