When I saw that article last week (thanks for posting it in case I missed it) the thought came to mind that the leading front office vendors seem to be making sure their products communicate easily with PeopleSoft's and SAP's products. It's ironic that the front office specialists are using that strategy to defend their turf against encroaching ERP vendors, that PeopleSoft is hoping to gain ERP turf by partnering with front office vendors, and that SAP is simply trying to move into the front office market.
