Humbly report, Bill, sitting here in the cabin that TAVA paid for, and knowing that Cheryl helped me research TAVA more than anyone else, I figure I better open my mouth.
We all have our styles, we all have our personalities. I know Cheryl. I know her in person, and I'll never forget the night she, TokyoMex, and I had a blast together in NYC. You don't know either of them.
In those days TAVA was in what you'd call the beginning of the pump period. Whatever. To us, it looked like the opportunity of a lifetime. The y2k sector was hot. Moonshots everywhere. IMRS, MAST, SYNT, CBSI, ALYD, IAIC, on and on, an on. Splits, 2:1,. 3:1, over and over again. Unbelievable. You were screaming short all over the place, and we were cleaning up - I mean big time.
Cheryl a shill? Mex? Damn right! We're all shills here, unless we just lurk. The minute you open your mouth here, you've got an agenda. Yours. Whatever it is. That's fundamental. We all take stock of these fundamentals each of us has. Yup, it sure is like the market. There's TAVA the company, we take stock. We evaluate. We value.
Cheryl loves what TAVA does, and more precisely Cheryl loves the solution TAVA brings to the y2k table. Cheryl is the TAVA mom.
Joe? Well, that's another story, and he knows how I feel about him these days.
Anyway, back to Cheryl and TAVA. Mom really figured out what TAVA does, where, how, and for whom. She bet the farm on it, and then proceeded to tell everyone on earth about it. She set standards. The TAVA research thread is a perfect example. Annoying? Sure, often. Sanctimonious jerk? Yup, mom's usually are, right? Shill? Of course. In the sense that she is an individual investor trying to move the market by telling everyone in sight as much of what she knows as possible. Obviously. Is that wrong? If it is, then SI should shut down.
So, here we were, cleaning up on TPRO and then TAVA, on the warrants, on y2k in general, an you were shilling sell short.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was all speculation. Just like the internuts. Unknown future chunks of the y2k pie, PE ratios that had nothing to do with reality. Well, you correctly pointed that out. Very early. Very very early. At the beginning. Lower than where TAVA and some of the others are now, after horrific falls. But you know, it sure was fun selling at the top.
Shilling? Sh!t man! You're one of the best! I mean you're a walking encyclopedia of a shill. I look you up each and every day, just to see how it's done. Talk about a spade and all that stuff . . .
So back to Cheryl, and TAVA. Up, up and away, my beautiful, my beautiful . . .
Cheryl is a fine lookin', hearty laughing, fun loving, wide open smart ass, and even though I've been pissed off at her many times, I have to tell you, you'd like her if you met her, out of context. I can't vouch for her honesty, none of us can, but I trust her. Means nothing, I know, but hey, felt good saying it!
So came time to sell. Well, some of us did, some didn't, some are long, some are short. Timing . . .
TAVA the company, TAVA stock. Cheryl the person, the stock we take of Cheryl.
Just like in the life of a company, things evolve. People learn, mostly through mistakes, companies learn . . .
And we take stock. It fluctuates all the time. Change is the only constant.
Is the TAVA story over? Where will it be in 10 years?
I'll still know what's up with Cheryl, and we'll have definitely had a few great laughs together during those years, wherever life brings us together again. A lot of us on this thread feel that way. A lot of friends here 'cause of Cheryl.
Cheers,
