Do note that over 1300 contracts, double the existing open interest, of the CSCO Jan 2000 100c traded yesterday when CSCO tanked with the market. Nope... you seem to have the wrong option OI data. Here is the correct data; Date Strike Last Change Bid Ask Vol OI 083198:JAN100(.LCYAT) 13.75 -5.25 12.5 13 2319 2541 090198:JAN100(.LCYAT) 17.25 +3.5 17.125 17.625 308 3456 Most of the volume in OI were established when the price range was between 18 to 21 -Suresh
