Actually, if you read further in that help file, trades in the Quote.Com applet marked "frmT" are, in fact, after-hours trades. That help file is not all that well written and you are not the first person to get that wrong.

That said, you may have been right for the wrong reason; sometimes off-hours traders make low-ball bids in order to skew that market (Jim Cramer wrote an article on how that works a few months back). These tactics usually have no effect on the open, "real" market.
