I happen to know a fair amount about Pink's Pukeable Pick, Apria, where he says he lost $7 million...where the hell were his operatives on that one? That company's top management mispriced all their managed care contracts so that they were likely virtual losers on every one of them (maybe they'll make it up on volume??) and then tried to blame it all on merger woes - on a merger that had occurred 2 years before! Now the 3 top dogs are gone and so is Pink's $7 million - but ol' Pink bird dog learned about that fraud the hard way! Somehow I am lacking in sympathy because there were plenty of indications (prior losses, BIG CHARGES FOR MERGER EXPENSES! (how come he didn't pick up that accounting mess?), -and he bought for the stupidist of reasons - a deteriorating co. that he thought would be acquired?!! Dee Jay
