Bob....I'm not under estimating the y2000 situation at all. That's why I mentioned the article by Mr. Yardini. Not wanting to sound like a total pessimist......I'll just say it should be 'an extremely' challenging period of time to live through. I still think there is a super-nova due here soon rather than "big wars and political upheavals" as you put it. Anyhoo.....is timing still everything? Yeah...I guess it is. And that time is now gone ....sort of speak. I still remember the SEC stepping in and halting this thing....what the hell was that all about? Normally trading halts don't work....do they? No.....not normally. But then again.....aipn is not the 'normal' company and stock right? Good luck to ya...still think we better pay down debt and batten down the hatches. Sure glad I paid only 65 bucks for my SI membership. May not be able to pay my internet connection bill but at least i have my SI membership cheap. Stop me before i hurt myself. lol Bye DH
