Was that recently LesX? After the end of the cold war, I mean? BTW I heard something on NPR tonight where some Russians were interviewed and many said they would like to see a return to Communism (about half said that) MH

Isn't the rising power communist/socialist, or left wing? Any meaningful discussion must be based on agreed-upon terms, but people discussing political or emotional issues are notorious for trying to win the debate by either using terms incorrectly (i.e. assault weapons), or using emotionally-loaded terms (i.e.partial-birth abortion). These days, most people in this country use right-wing to mean Republican, and left-wing to mean Democrat. In the old days, left-wing meant socialist and right-wing meant smaller government. I'm not quite sure how you are using the terms, other than you consider right-wing to be bad.
