Jim,

Good luck on that one. Maybe someone else out there knows it. I don't. But the approach is more conservative than others and that's why it tends to lead the markets as it did with this latest dive. Sometimes, however, it can be 6 months early, so don't depend on it being precisely dependable, whatever that means.

Pretty sure Value Line Index is not cap weighted. I will check and get back to you....
