If I had NT ($269) I think that I would probably try to put this thing together myself, and if I can pick up a copy at the show for a great price I just might.

Look for the "educational version" of Visual Basic or Visual C++ at the shows. Sometimes it includes NT 4.0. With MS upgrading its development software you can get the old versions cheap.
