Tad LaFontain on MU

...Cheap doesn't mean good, he said. He hasn't liked the looks of DRAM maker Micron Technology (MU:NYSE), even as other analysts were bullish this past month. With Dell (DELL:Nasdaq) pushing down DRAM margins, the company just won't be able to meet the bulls' high earnings expectations, he said. The market seemed to agree. While sector leaders Intel and Texas Instruments rose 4 3/4 and 3 1/4 respectively, investors nudged Micron Technology up just 7/8. (Needham has been an underwriter for Actel and Altera but not for Lattice or Micron.)
