dwight-- i do. i know quite a few who margined out of brokerage accounts for a downpayment on a benz because the increases in the value of their financial assets paid for, or at least kept the margin at bay. now they are worried about margin calls. long term, even if the sell off gets to 5k on the dow, its not going to be a big deal. but short term there are going to be a lot of over leveraged people hurting. its going to cause some problems, maybe even a little recession. its not so much the people who build the big homes and make 300k or more a year. its the people (and there are a lot of them) who are supporting a bollinger lifestyle on schlitz pay. good luck to all, trey
