ZULU/ESVS's new offices... Retrieved the Thomas Guide from the car. Sepulveda Blvd runs parallel to the 405 freeway, a couple of blocks away in most places, and goes through some fairly toney parts of town - West LA, Westwood and Brentwood. However, the part of Sepulveda where the new offices are located are south of those areas, in an area known as Mar Vista, which I am not familiar with, and adjacent to Culver City. While not the most impressive area, I think it is a decent, safe area. If anybody is actually visiting, and will be paying your own expenses, consider the Hotel Del Capri. It's on Wilshire Blvd., near where it crosses Sepulveda a few miles north of their location, and is convenient to Westwood and Beverly Hills. It's an older hotel (has that somewhat-worn 50's feel), but slowly being modernized. (e.g. some rooms have better bathrooms than others...) Party, I've been told that a lot of musicians stay there when in town. About $100, which is a deal. Not elegant, but very 50's L.A., with many of the rooms surrounding a pleasant teardrop pool, and reminds me of the kind of place where you might find Lucy and Ricky staying. Perhaps you will hear the strains of "Babaloo" coming from the pool area in the evening. :) (No, I don't get a commission, I just find the place reasonable, comfortable, and thought I'd pass it on.) There are a number of other hotel choices on Wilshire in that area, which range from about the same price to ultra deluxe, and any would also be a good choice. Very nice neighborhood, with hotels dotted in between pricey, high-rise condos with some very unique deco architecture.
