They only did the startup financing for Sun Microsystems, Tandem computers, Compaq, Lotus, Excite, Netscape, AMZN, Rambus, silicon Graphics, to name a few off the top of my head.

I have never seen such a nice consolidated list of LOSERS.

Thank you.

Yes, despite the fact that you TWIST MY WORDS LIKE NOBODYS BUSINESS, I am afraid that I will have to agree with you....

Kleiner Perkins is a LOSER.

TomD<Please explain to the thread why you think Kleiner Perkins are losers.
And maybe address L. John Doerr, an ardent supporter of AMZN.>
There's no question that Kleiner Perkins have enjoyed tremendous success and with their power, they get to pick the best start- up potentials of the bunch.
Please remember that a lot of their ventures after huge stock gains, have returned to earth. That's what I believe Amzn is currently doing.
You mentioned L. John Doerr. This man has a wonderful record of selling huge amounts of stock at its peak. If you check Edgar, I believe you'll find out that he did it again with Amzn. Did you?
