AMD couldn't even copy their own process from Sunnyvale to Austin (.35um process). I seriously doubt that AMD has the same equipment set as Motorolo AND do you think AMD will purchase new equipment at MegaFlop 25 (tm PR Engel) just to do a "Copy Exactly with Motorolo ... I don't think so. This leaves the Dresden Fab ... So AMD's plan is to bring in "unfamiliar" equipment, a new/untried .18um process, and a new CPU design. Sounds like a "recipe" for success ...
