Another guy on TV just said he isn't worried because he doesn't own any high-fliers. He said he owns KO and PFE.

He should buy a little AMZN to add to his conservative portfolio. <g>

WS, Ciena and Tellabs have postponed a vote until November. Goldman will postpone because they simply do not get their price here.

I couldn't believe it. The Houston Chronicle had an article about how calm The Bearded Ladies are in this downturn. Weren't they totally discredited for faking their results so they could sell a book? Oh, well, I guess their non-prison sentence rehabilitated them.
