don't short, bro. investors are too gull-i-bull. however, i do own oct puts that have actually come to daddy of late after being big, big losers. this company is a punk mail order book company with a web page. you'll understand what this means when the reality of this truism smacks you around a little ;-) btw, after losing nearly 50% of your investment you are brash ;-)

In 1998 fiscal year, Amazon's margins will be a -14.2% according Merrill. That excludes the amortization of goodwill. Gross margins mean nothing if the costs to obtain them far exceed the margin mgained on the sale. This is call General Accepted Accounting Principles. Glenn

To the point that if Amzn can survive a few years, Aol might well buy Amzn, but not at todays price. If you do want to compare them? I pay Aol $21.95 pm. If I don't buy a book, how much do I pay Amzn? I suppose next, your going to compare Yhoo to Amzn.
