You can be sure they see a meshing down the line - within
the overall business plan. "Our" management is one bunch
of savvy folks...IMHO.

IBM has put their Global Dial Business up for sale....
I remember when IBM bought ROLM and then didn't know what to do with it so they sold it again after it's workforce and inspiration was gone. Then they had those satellites which they traded to MCI for a piece of the company and then got rid of MCI. I sure hope L3 is not buying anything without a good idea of what they are doing with it.
