>> Eidos Linked To Crystal Dynamics

Industry: FGN Online can reveal that Eidos is on
the verge of announcing an acquisition of Crystal
Dynamics. Details are sketchy at present, but we
understand a deal has been completed, and that the
official announcement was being held back until this
weekend's trade show ECTS in Eidos' home city of
London. However, with news of the deal now out,
Eidos may issue a release at any time. At the time of
our update, no-one was available for comment at
Eidos or Crystal Dynamics.<<

>> Industry Mad For Frankie

Industry: The news that 'Mad' Frankie Fraser, a
former East London gangster turned media
celebrity, will be promoting Gangsters for Eidos at
ECTS this weekend, has prompted rantings and
ravings throughout industry press. Certain pundits
have slammed Eidos' ethics pertaining to the matter.
Industry journalist Paul Rigby, recently stated, "our
industry does not need people of his calibre.
Hopefully no additional editorial is written about
him, and that by writing this he does not gain added
notoriety."<<
