State Street says Asia impact insignificant

BOSTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - State Street Corp. said that current events in Asia have had an ''insignificant'' impact on its revenue and earnings, and that economic woes in Russia and Latin America have had ''no significant impact.''

A spokeswoman said Wednesday the trust services and commercial lending company could not immediately quantify how it expects to perform against expectations for the current quarter.

With $4.5 trillion in assets under custody and $459 billion under management, State Street Corp. is the world's leading specialist in serving institutional investors.
