I chickened out at $75 yesterday.

--- snip from Steve Harmon ISR :
Like a scene from the movie "Twister," storm chasing around through
Internet stocks for the week August 25 through September 1 was akin to
watching flying cows (bulls perhaps) being taken in the funnel only to
be hurled into bear burgers on the other side.

Mooooow.

Yes, I think the market will move around a lot but won't soar up past 8200 on the DOW and similar, maybe a bit stronger on the NSDAQ - so I will be in and out and in again a few times. I think it is very possible that we will see a test of the lows. This is a technical bounce - the underlying market concerns regarding commodity pricing decline and recession in some countries has not changed. This will continue to have an effect on US company profits and growth. However, this problem is not new it's just that it takes several months before the bursting of the bubble overseas rolls on. The tightening of credit and adjustments to over-capacity in many industries takes time to work it's way through the boa - the analogy is that it's like a giant boa eating a small antelope - the antelope is swallowed and then takes months to slowly digest and be absorbed.
