Dale: I am reading the thread - its timely and useful.. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole lot to add. I have shorted CCI and JPM with success over the last month. Short COF now, but got buried a bit yesterday. Keep the info coming!

Nations Bank NB, Travellers Grp., KEY and PNC. Two big ones and two regionals. I guess Travelers is really insurance. I am actually ahead with NB since I have had it awhile. Seems like the regionals as well as NB is being caught up in the world wide mess even though they do not have much if any exposure. Old story, when the leaders get the sniffles, the rest catch a cold. I will keep watching and reading. Thanks for the thread. Bob T.

Dale: I have no idea who urged you to start this thread but it was a stroke of genius. My only problem is the guy's timing. He should have urged this on you months ago but he is probably dilatory. {GGG} I have not gone short yet because I am currently out of margin. Did alright on Monday but didn't cover anything since I don't think we've touched bottom yet. I think the banks are going to get hit harder yet but that is only a gut reaction. Keep up the good work and you will either be known as the Roger Babb of shorting bank stocks or the Mr. Pink of bank stocks. Scott
