For Apple, the best way to introduce themselves into places
like Africa is through the K-12 market as part of government
programs to upgrade educational systems. Striking special
deals, etc., but no reason to consider doing so until after
this Christmas season and demand slows in US/Europe/Japan.

Of course that IBM ad was not targeted
to Africans since they don't have TV...

Wow. That's gonna come as a big shock to Bophuthatswana Broadcasting Corporation, SABC, Midi TV, M-Net Television and others -- and that's just in South Africa.

I sure hope their advertisers don't get wind of this. All those episodes of Ally McBeal and Batwatch being broadcast, and nobody out there to watch them.
