Toshiba announces new VCD player Sunday Mail [ TOSHIBA ] Sales and Services Sdn Bhd recently announced the availability of its latest video compact disc (VCD) player, the TVD-860K in the local market. The TVD-860K incorporates a specially designed integrated circuit (IC) designed to minimise distortion and produce clearer images and purer sounds. It features a sleek, silver body and dual-colour switches that display the state of the disc when played. Other features of the TVD-860K include karaoke fun 3-disc program which allows users to select and programme songs from three discs. In addition, users can also choose additional songs without interrupting the present song being played. Other options include digital echo effect, duet capability and 15-step key control that allows users to sing in their own key. The Toshiba TVD-860K is retailed at RM999.
