Herm, wouldn't it be appropriate to add sell the stock. This is the perfect time to get out of the stock if you want to move on to some other company or if you wish to play the "buy low - sell high strategy".

Hummm? Provided you know what you are doing, sure you could exit out of stock(s) and move on. That is not what I'm personally advocating. The markets will not continue to go up for ever! There are going to be major pull backs in order to start the whole game over. That's fine, as long as we prosper during those moves.

I would like to point out that If a person has that level of experience to "buy low & sell high" on a regular basis they would not be reading this forum. The majority of investors don't even come close to that outcome on a regular basis. I hear and see more emails request like "I paid $40 and now it's worth $10" what can I do? WOW! If they understood W.I.N.S. in the first place they would have known how to snap into damage control by pulling out one of the tools from the W.I.N.S. tool shed.

Most of us need a defined set of simple trading rules to follow. We then can find the stocks that match the profile or criteria for the strategy. W.I.N.S. is an entire approach that spans the entire spectrum of possible price movements in any market environment. Have you noticed that few (if any) individuals have said they lost money following this approach. Most have tried this and that with mix results. They stumble across this forum and the next thing you know the newbie is making a buck and they are thrilled. I'm sure there are other ways to make profits in the stock market. I don't think this one is as labor intensive as others.

If investors take the time to learn and incorporate all of the features of W.I.N.S. they will become much better in seeking out situations, entering the stock, avoiding total disaster, and recovering from losses. If investors would share their results with the others on this forum, we can then critique each other and learn from the mistakes. That learning experience may save your beacon some day! The collective experience of all the lurkers is what we need to tap and harness. The more that help out the less burden we place on any one individual to "do all the work."
