Eric,

Somone is blowing smoke. The plant at Malad, Idaho is not even in operation. The plant is located in town and can't get permits because of past serious dust problems. The new plant is to be built up at Virgina, Idaho. However with a planned maximum production of 180,000 tons per years and an average selling price of raw perlite at say $32 per ton, the total income would be about 5.5 million per year. So how can Monetas share be 2.5. Also there is not a market in the US and Canada for an additional 180,000 tons. If there was, I would go after it. I don't have any truck fees. The rail goes right to the edge of my pit.

Avalon is no better. Who ever operates that property will have to tear donw the new mill which was built in town and relocate it to the mine site. Lots of truck haulage. 12 million profit? Total annual sales of raw perlite for all producers are about 24 million, how can avalon even imagine profits of 12 million.
