No she was not a Quaker, um, in the religious sense and her name wasn't Quaker either. But it is a fascinating book. It is titled "When we Went First Class." The book I read was purchased at the Quaker Oats museum, but it might be available elsewhere. I believe the lady who wrote the book also wrote some books on the stock market. The stock that her father gave her to manage and live off in college made her interested in the market.
