Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a nationwide standard, digital dial-up telephone line that enables you to have voice, video & data communications all at the same time, on the same telephone call, over the same telephone line. -------------- With a normal telephone line you can get a max of 33.6Kbps data transfer, a little more coming in with a 56K modem. With ISDN you get 2 64K channels. If you use both channels you can get 128K transfer rate both ways. Your web pages with seem to pop up, and file transfers are extremely fast. It costs about $62 per month including taxes in Dallas. The ISP charge will be more, too.
