It was announced early this morning on CNBC that Cypress Semi was more than
tripling its stock buyback program from 4 million to 13 million shares. Cypress's management noted that the increased buyback program was in response to the sharp drop in the price of its stock. I realize
that LSI has used a great deal of cash to buy Symbios but a statement
to the effect that in spite of the acquisition LSI's management
feels so strongly that the stock is so undervalued in their opinion
that they are increasing the stock buyback authorization. The amount does not need to be significant but a vote of confidence from management would be helpful.

back in today at 12/7/8. Each time I log on here, seeing the opening box with "LSI a good buy at 45" or whatever, reminds me of the risk I am taking. At least at this level, with my 10 year time frame, I am very comfortable. Moneypenny
