R Sandvig,

I expect we will hear a great deal of good news quite soon with
regards to the plasma antenna. I think you are wrong in your
opinion of it, although we are all entitled to them. The chip is
hardly obsolete, if anything it is perhaps a little early for this
technology. Show me another chip that can do the work of ShBoom
for anywhere NEAR $10. Sure there are lots of chips that have similar performance levels but they are all in the $25-30 range,
chips like srongARM and PowerPC come to mind. And how many of them
can run java at native speeds?????? Answer = NONE.

Sandvig, obviously your understanding and engineering capabilities are far beyond the engineers etc. at companies such as WindRiver, Genroco, 4th Inc., Scientific- Atlantic, Concurrent Computer Corp., etc.- because these guys are using an obsolete chip for their future products - boy are they dumb - G
