Can any of you Chicago participants add to this report?

"BB made a brief radio appearance this morning on the Chicago station that carries his show, WLS-AM. It was at the very end of the Don Wade and Roma show, 8:55 Chicago time. I was in heavy traffic and tried to get over to the side to take notes, but it was impossible. I scribbled down these points as soon as I got to the office. In a nutshell, here's what he had to say:
We are in the midst of a terrific buying opportunity.
The Monday sell-off took him by surprise, but he sees support at around 7400 DJIA.
The market will test these levels in the weeks to come, and don't expect a straight up move from here.
We are in the midst of an emotional downturn.
Expect new market highs in all of the major indexes sometime in 1999.
Investors must take a long-term view.
The elements for a bear market are not in place, and he borrowed from his Saturday monologue regarding the factors needed for a bear market, adding that none of these were currently in place.

In summary, he has not changed his position one iota as of Tuesday morning, 25 minutes into the trading session. Did anyone else catch the broadcast? If so, please chime in."

Wally: You posting fool! You can post all you want but it won't get you your "Market Clapper" any sooner. Lars is busy writing a catalog description for this item but his stockings have a run and this has slowed him down considerably. I have been working on our book deal and printing "Brinkerhead Tee Shirts." FYI, our investment book title is: The Bearded Weirdstown Ladies .

Wally,

>>>
P.S. - Look at that. I even double-posted (not to be confused with cross-posted) to help out this thread.
>>>
Just when I think I have this cross post thing figured out. We have people cross posting within the same thread. ha!
