To all, Looks like the market bounce is over - DOW down 45. THQI is up over 40% from it's lows earlier this week. I'm willing to bet that it goes down tomorrow on a lower DOW and some short term profit taking. Maybe good for a quick out in the AM depending on the market and buy back in lower later in the week? Comments appreciated. Regards, Dave

Ignorance Is Bliss Department Having bought 30 cheapie call Sept. contracts at an avg. of 3/4, I saw them more than double today and began to worry a tad about the time premium drying up, so I sold at an avg. of 1 9/16, deciding not to be my usual piggy self and go for more dollars. Curious about the commissions, I checked my broker's Web site.The money totals for each transaction looked all screwed up. So I queried my broker and learned that the THQI option contracts were split adjusted to represent 150 shares per contract rather than the usual 100 shares. My 30 contracts turned out to be, in effect, 45 contracts, and my profit a surprising 50% more than I thought it was. Geez! Is there anyone else with post-split call options who also didn't know this, or am I the only Mortimer Snerd trader here?
