This is clear evidence that A LOT of what Yousef says should be taken with a major dose of salt. So his technical prediction proved false and then he lied about it. I see a credibility problem developing here. Heck, even the much maligned "private thread" made a more accurate call with respect to 350MHz parts. Bob

Langola, Did you bother to notice the dates on those posts. When Yousef made that claim even AMD and Jerry Sanders weren't sure they could get the .25u up and running (I recall Jerry calling it HIGH RISK). Therefore they got IBM as a backup. Now what I am curious about is where did you POP UP from.

In fact based on my post that you quoted, Maxwell wanted to bet on the AMD K6 reaching 350mhz: Message 3889147 I wanted to put some time constraint on the bet (So obviously, I knew that the 350mhz K6 was possible): Message 3889287 Maxwell didn't like my bet of NO 350mhz K6 listed on the ChipMerchant by August '98 ... He wanted to make if October '98: Message 3889394 I reiterated my August '98 bet: Message 3889731 Maxwell wouldn't take the bet ... Looks like maybe he should have. <ggg> Hopefully this helps you better understand my position ... I also posted last month that I thought a 350mhz K6 was possible but reduced margin and yields.
