joe, No, it's gonna be like this: COMS is going to buy DELL, MSFT and INTC. They will then be able to ensure a market for the "low-end" NICs and Modems ;-) Steve

Please guys, don't even whisper merger into investment community's or Eric's ear right now, as he just got through this painful USRX merger and truly gaining speed on competition. Mergers this large take resources away from day to day activities. I think this was a major reason for getting new COO on board so it doesn't happen again. I like the strategic alliances much better, but I think buying the Palm technology was worth it in the long run and had to have great foresight to make such a significant decision. Matt
