NW..... CPQ closed at 27 7/8 yesterday and traded 13 million shares today, all at or above 30. I see that as fairly positive, even though it woulda been nice to se it close a little higher than 30 1/8. El

Hey you're good.

I bought the Sept 40 but actually paid 15/16 for them (10 contracts).
A pittance to pay for insurance in this crazy market.

It was kinda wierd thinking I'm long a stock with negative earnings and short a stock with positive earnings (trailing of course) but as we all know here, CPQ has a lot more going for it at the moment than GTW (not to mention analyst upgrades etc).

Too bad CPQ didn't spin off part of AltaVista before last week.
