More buying again. The vacuum cleaner is back again, and got all the shares under $2 again. Also noticed there was buying earlier in the day today. Very strange opening. A gap down. Wonder what the story is?

I found this article on CALASIC, now JSI:

JSI eyes specialty ASICs -- JMAR division, formerly known as California ASIC, will focus on low-volume niche

Abstracted from Electronic Buyers News 06/15/98

California ASIC Inc has changed its name to JMAR Semiconductor Inc
(Chatsworth, CA) and will focus on supplying low-volume ASICs. The low-volume ASIC market could generate about $3.5 bil/yr in worldwide revenue in 1998. JMAR has closed the 1.0-micron fab formerly operated by California ASIC and plans to sell the factory to an unnamed buyer.

JMAR will generate more than 85% of its 1998 revenue from military work. Commercial accounts will grow to 60% of JMAR's business when it transitions to ASSPs. JMAR is a division of JMAR Technologies Inc (San Diego, CA). JMAR Technologies, which recently changed its name from JMAR Industries, also changed the name of Pacific Precision Laboratories Inc, its semiconductor test and measurement equipment division, to JMAR Precision Systems Inc. JMAR's lithography research and development arm changed its name from JMAR Technology Co to JMAR Research Inc.

Who was that masked man?

Well put! I agree with everything you've said. Scary isn't it? My demeanor lately isn't really about the XRL, it's about credibility. JMAR can succeed without XRL, but I may not have bought more stock a year ago knowing what I now know.
