What we need right now is consolidation in the semis, look at the valuations of ATML, VLSI, NSM, LSI etc. I think these companies should be taken out by either INTC or TI at huge discount prices. Pierre

Big Question is How Much Cash will be Consumed and Effect On Book Value. That's what concerns me--in early 90's same thing happened and it just dragged on--consuming cash and really knocking book value per share down. At this point no one knows the answer and there was no hint in the press release. Suspect management doesnt know the answer--because it depends when the business rebounds. Press release only said rebound in 1999 and beyond.
