Charliss - The difference between this week and next is exposure as the news comes across the wire. Everybody's back from vacation next week. More eyes on the wire - more potential buyers on the news.

For those with a long term horizon, yes, it doesn't matter when news hits, what matters is earnings growth.

But for those looking for maximum "pop" for trading on the news, next week is more likely to provide it.
