Well said. And if Pair's HDSL repeater product is so superior then why did ADCT win over GTE? I suspect (know) there is more to comparing a company's product to a competitors' offering than just reading the specs in press releases.

So I would follow-up to your question and ask this board (politely) if PAIR's HDSL product is great (as indicated by PAIR's May press release) then why has GTE chosen ADCT's product? I realize that telecom companies like to select 2 equipment suppliers but it seems that PAIR's HDSL product on specs alone is far ahead of ADCT's product. Comments?

<<< what's going on here?>>>

robert,

What going here is people loaded up PAIR with margin. And when PAIR
and other positions are tanked, the only choice to satisfy the
margin call is sell sell sell!

<<<Their
ADSL prospects are not very promising from what I've read here and elsewhere, between deployment
problems, lack of standards, and being behind cable I'm not feeling too good about a substantial investment
i've made in them.>>>

If ADSL doesn't take off by this Dec., my PAIR will disappear
from my portfolio. From what I read, the standards will be finalized
this October.
