Truman, I was unable to locate the other thread. Would you be so kind as to give a clue to its whereabouts?

Best regards,
Richard

Re: My recollection, subject to amendment, is that Bob Brinker has told us that he began radio as a sports announcer.

Is I remember it, Bob once said that he started as a track announcer for motor sports (that is, car racing.) A radio caller once told Bob that he recognized Bob's voice from many years ago at a certain race track, which sent Bob into a detailed description of various race car drivers and events. My memory does not retain the name of the track, though perhaps another threader will remember. I would agree, Bob is quite a sports fan, which adds color to his show, and at least some irony to sport-related blackouts that listeners must endure <g>

Regards...Bill S.

"Obviously, the remarkable fact that Brinker has been dead-on
about these markets for well more than a decade running, until
this point in time,"

I assume you are not including 1987. Were you listening to him
then? Or 1988? I was.
