Lucretius...You are a clown.

Michael Dell started selling computers 13 years ago out of a bathtub in his dorm room in Texas. Today, he is 33 years old and at the helm of a company that did more than 15 billion dollars in revenue in the previous year.

Anyone who believes he'll be a poorer businessman say from 33-46 than he was from 20-33 is disillusioned at best.

DELL consistently sets the standard and will continue to do so...I'm sure you like the attention and it's nice to have a differing opinion every once in a while...HOWEVER, random postulations on the short-term movement of the best stock in the galaxy are childish and a waste of space.

Thanks for your input...I'll go long, you go short and let's compare notes five years from now.

Good Day.

BLong, re:<<The state and local governments certainly invest in stock (I don't know about the US government), but somehow I don't think they're buying Microsoft right now.>> I don't think its the states or local governments directly. I know that the state and local government pension funds do. However, the pension funds are not the state treasuries.
