Re: 200 dma The Naz, the Dow, and SP500 are all below there 200 dma and have been now for several days. The SP500 has not been under its 200dma for at least 2 years.

It would seem that 1050 would therefore present very formidable resistance and are destined to stay below that average for quite some time. I don't believe I will add at all to my long term holdings until we have convincingly crossed that threshold.

I know the 200dma is child's play when it comes to TA, but looking back at some of my major losers, I bought them when they were under their 200dma and they kept getting cheaper. If i had followed that simple rule I would have been spared some considerable downside.

Any comments?
