The Chris Meister/Thread This stock will be in gear long before others in the group. It has the strongest earnings (and earnings do matter)and the trading volume was higher than usual. I would also consider MASK and other companies involved in the masking business. Hope tomorrow is a good day for all.......Jerome

Don't count the chicken before they are hatched. Me thinks that "they" struggled to show their best face for now. I hope you read this: <<Product backlog at July 31, 1998 was $128.8 million, down approximately 19%, compared to $158.6 million at July 31, 1997. The decline in the product backlog at year end reflects the current downturn in the semiconductor industry compared to a year ago. >> 20% rise in revenues soon after a new product was introduced, followed by 19% drop in orders. Is the glass half full or half empty? I think latter. Considering the downturn in the industry, I think they did admirably well. But that WAS yesterday. I doubt if they can escape a sell-off tomorrow. -MM
