Chris, You are right! However, we are starting to get into the gray area of splitting hairs. For that reason, I'll qualify my responses (past and current) to include a limitation on shared information which COULD fall into the category of "Insider Information". The primary problem, in today litigation crazy society, is that there are to many hungry attorneys out there and to many people who KNOW they have been deliberately wronged by someone else. The results is a class action lawsuit. And, it really doesn't matter if there was or was not a leak of insider information, now the company has a liability on their balance sheet under the main heading of "Legal". You know as well as I do, even if the case is won, the pennies per share each shareholder gets is nothing when compared to the legal fees received by the attorney (personal or law firm). I call that "incentive to sue" and "reason to limit the information I give out" - regardless to whom I'm speaking. .....-jp :-)
