8/98 report-98 Capital Expenditure of $150 Mil. To Come Cash and securities

Statement (8/98 Q report) indicates VLSI plans to fund this $150 million from cash (and securities)--so cash may be earmarked already. They can't stop the capital expenditures for converting their wafer facilities--so not sure how much cash is remaining and really cash!
