Thanks for the info on the PPT. I have been wondering who was involved. Rubin leading it? That does not give me any confidence in that they will be very successful.

Actually, yesterday looked to me as if there was steady intervention. The futures were often overpriced significantly for extended periods of time, even when the market was not moving rapidly. This would imply that someone was prepared to overpay. Hedge funds might do that in rapidly moving markets or when there are liquidity concerns, but that was not the case. It looked more like HK-style intervention. Any thoughts anyone?
