Stock Bull, I am a long term investor. I don't trade because I don't think it is possible to consistently time the market. Think about the money lost by people who sold in a panic on Monday. All they accomplished was locking in their losses. Dell is a great growth company in an growing industry. Why sell?

As to whether we are headed into a bear market, or the bull will come roaring back, I can't say with any certainty. I don't see any evidence of a recession on the horizon, and sustained bear markets are generally associated with recessions.

My approach is straight forward. Stay fully invested in the best companies you can find. Ignore the vicissitudes of the markets. They will make you crazy. Keep your eyes on the businesses, because it is the business you invest in that will make you rich.

TTFN,
CTC
